Masts:
- Snapped brand new Technofibre 520cm mast whilst adjusting the outhaul at Oxwich Bay on the Gower Peninsula, 8 June, 2003. [Specialised Sailing in Fawley replaced it under warranty no questions asked, excellent service guys!]
- Snapped 3 year old Bic 460cm mast whilst planing out from the beach at Hayling Island, 2004. [Replaced with a Tushingham 460cm]

- Chipped nose of Bic Techno 283 whilst sailing at Newgale beach, 2002. [Patched]
- Cracked nose of Starboard Carve 99 whilst sailing at Hayling Island, 30 July, 2005. [Repaired]
- Minor crack to nose of Starboard Carve 99. [Patched]
- Cracked nose of Starboard Carve 99 in the waves of Swansea Bay, 1 November, 2009.

- Ripped a minifilm panel on 4.2m Arrows Impact whilst sailing in Swansea Bay. 3 February, 2008.
- Ripped 5.0m Gaastra GTX from clew to luff whilst sailing at Knab Rock, Mumbles. 13 January, 2008.
- Ripped a monofilm panel on 5.8m Bic Logical whilst sailing at Hayling Island. [Repaired]
- Ripped a monofilm panel on 5.8m Bic Logical whilst sailing at Lee on Solent. [Repaired]
- Put fin through a monofilm panel on 5.8m Bic Logical whilst rigging at Swansea Bay, 4 June, 2005. [Duck-Taped]
- Ripped a monofilm panel on 5.8m Bic Logical whilst sailing at Horton on the Gower Peninsula, 23 September, 2005. [Repaired]
- Put a small hole through bottom panel of 5.8m Bic Logical while sailing at Llangennith in September 2006. [Duck-Taped]
- Ripped a monofilm panel on 5.8m Bic Logical in November, 2007. [Duck-Taped]
- Snapped a batten and torn batten pocket on 7.0m Tushingham Thunderbird 2 while sailing at Llangennith in September 2006. [Repaired]
- Ripped a monofilm panel on 7.2m Arrows Tomahawk whilst rigging at Hayling Island. [Duck-Taped]
- Ripped a monofilm panel on 7.2m Arrows Tomahawk whilst caught in the shore dump at Hayling Island, 22 May, 2005. [Written off - replaced with a 7.0m Tushingham Thunderbird 2]
- Small rip in the top monofilm panel on 9.6m Tushingham Max whilst sailing at Woolacombe, June, 2004. [Duck-Taped]
- Put UJ pin through a monofilm panel on 9.6m Tushingham Max whilst rigging at Poole Harbour. [Duck-Taped]
- Ripped a monofilm panel on 9.6m Tushingham Max, 2008.

Booms:
- Bent Bic boom whilst planing into a sand-bar at Poole Harbour. [Bent back into shape]
- Broke 5 year old Bic boom whilst planing at Poole Harbour, April 2006. [Replaced with a Gaastra boom]
- Broke clamp on 10 month old Gaastra boom at Poole Harbour, February, 2007. [Repaired by FC Watersports under warranty]
- Broke clamp on Gaastra boom at Horton. Had to ditch the rig at sea in the breaking waves but it was washed up on shore. 22 June 2008.
- Broke Gaastra boom in the waves of Swansea Bay, 1 November 2009.

- Broke a Jez's Nose-Knob, 2004.
- Broke the pin off a UJ whilst sailing at Horton. 8 December, 2007. [Replaced with a Chinook UJ]
